For survivors of abuse and trafficking

God of justice, you do not ask anyone to stay where they are being harmed.

Be with people who are being controlled, sold, threatened, or hurt behind a closed door.

Give them a way out, people who believe them, money, papers, shelter, and time.

Bring what was done into the light, and let those responsible be held to account.

For survivors carrying this for years: give rest, and keep anyone from telling them their faith requires contact with the person who hurt them.
