Before you go
Wear whatever you own. Arrive a few minutes early and sit near the back if that feels safer: there is no assigned seating.
What happens
Roughly an hour, in two halves. First, readings from Scripture and a homily. Then the Eucharistic prayer, when Catholics believe the bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Christ.
People stand, sit, and kneel at different points. Following those around you is completely acceptable, as is staying seated.
Communion
Catholics who are prepared receive Communion. If you are not Catholic, or are not ready, you are welcome to remain in your seat or come forward with your arms crossed over your chest to receive a blessing.
