For refugees, migrants, and displaced families

Lord Jesus, your family left home at night because a king wanted you dead.

You were a child carried across a border by parents with almost nothing.

Be with families on roads, in boats, in tents, in detention, in cities where no one can pronounce their names.

Give them safety, papers, work, neighbours, and rest.

Where I have the power to make a stranger's arrival easier, make me use it.
