Prayer for forgiveness

For when you are the one who caused harm, and want to begin again.

God, I have hurt people, and I have hurt myself.

I am not asking to feel better before I face it. I am asking for the courage to face it.

Give me a repentance that changes what I do, not only what I feel. Have mercy on me. Amen.
